OUR WINES
Wines for the 2008 season...
and the 2008 retail price
(wine prices and availability may vary based on location of purchase)
- WineChick Cherry, $11.00
A very light tart-sweet wine made from organically grown Colorado montmorency cherries. Apparently it is a great wine to have with macadamia nut pancakes (Admittedly I have not tried this combination yet). Light-hearted and lively enough to go with Jane Austen novels.
- Harvest Gold, $12.00
A light semi-sweet wine made from a blend of Colorado grown muscat blanc and other white grape varietes. Tastes of peaches and pears. A wine for sitting on the porch with a friend and dissecting relationships (your relationships, your friends relationships, and the love life of people you've never met). Also good with Jimmy Buffet tunes.
- WineChick White, $11.00
A blend of Riesling, and Viognier. An off-dry white wine with flavors of citrus fruits and spice. A summer-sipping wine great when accompanied by a trashy novel... or an old Cary Grant movie.
- Bottoms Up White Wine, $10.00
A light, fruity white wine blend of Colorado grown Chardonnay and French hybrid grapes. Tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and banana. Lazy-day wine...goes with reading Thomas Hardy novels, listening to Richard Thompson tunes, and contemplating where to hang your hammock.
- Venus de Vino Rosé, $12.00
An off-dry rose' from Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Cabernet Franc. Wine to go with "Artemis moments" ...those times when you strip off your clothes, bound through mountain meadows, and then dive into a cool alpine lake. It's good to be a pagan goddess.
- WineChick Pinot Noir, $9.00
Colorado grown Pinot Noir. A medium-bodied, dry red wine with an flavor and aroma of red berries and herbs. A fun wine to have with homemade vegetarian pizza. Also goes well with activities involving peanut butter.
- WineChick Blues, $13.00
A Colorado grown Merlot. A luscious smooth and fruity red wine with flavors of blueberries and oak. Goes well with some chocolate desserts, most blues music, and all Chris Smithers songs.
- WineChick Red, $12.00
Colorado grown Shiraz. A dry, medium-bodied red wine with raspberry/dark cherry fruit and a light black pepper spiciness. A great wine for anything involving garlic, cheese, and friends making a mess in your kitchen.
- Boulder Backpacking Wine, $14.00
A Colorado-grown Cabernet Franc. A dry medium-bodied red wine with dark berry flavors and a distinct smoky-herbal-earthy taste. Best by the campfire after a day of backpacking.
- Bottoms Up Red, $17.00
A blend of Cabernet Franc and Shiraz that comes in the big bottle for wild women and parties of all sizes.
